You can configure your browser so that Cookies are saved in your terminal or, on the contrary, that they are rejected, either systematically or according to their sender. You can also configure your browser so that you are offered the option of accepting or rejecting Cookies from time to time, before a Cookie is likely to be recorded in your Terminal.

The Cookie Agreement

The recording of a Cookie in a Terminal is essentially subject to the will of the user of the Terminal, which the latter can express and modify at any time and free of charge through the choices offered to him by his navigation software.

If you have accepted in your browser software the recording of Cookies in your Terminal, the Cookies integrated in the pages and contents that you have consulted may be stored temporarily in a dedicated space of your Terminal. They will be readable only by their issuer.

Refusal of Cookies

If you refuse to accept cookies on your terminal, or if you delete the cookies stored on your terminal, you will no longer be able to benefit from a certain number of functionalities that are nevertheless necessary to navigate in certain areas of our website. This would be the case if you tried to access our content or services that require you to be identified. 2. Flash" Cookies from "Adobe Flash PlayerTM

"Adobe Flash PlayerTM is a computer application that allows for the rapid development of dynamic content using the "Flash" computer language. Flash (and applications of the same type) memorizes the settings, preferences and use of these contents thanks to a technology similar to Cookies. However, Adobe Flash PlayerTM manages this information and your choices through an interface different from that provided by your browser.
Insofar as your Terminal is likely to view content developed with the Flash language, we invite you to access your Flash cookie management tools from the website

3. Your choices expressed online to interprofessional platforms

You can connect to the site, proposed by digital advertising professionals grouped together within the European Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) and managed in France by the Interactive Advertising Bureau France.
You will be able to find out which companies are registered with this platform and which offer
you the possibility of refusing or accepting the cookies used by these companies to adapt the advertisements likely to be displayed on your terminal to your browsing information:
This European platform is shared by hundreds of Internet advertising professionals and constitutes a centralized interface allowing you to express your refusal or acceptance of the Cookies that may be used to adapt the advertisements that may be displayed on your Terminal to your Browsing information. Note that this procedure will not prevent the display of advertisements on the websites you visit. It will only block the technologies that allow to adapt advertisements to your centers of interest.

The objective is to present you with the most relevant advertising possible. To this end, cookie technology makes it possible to determine in real time which advertisement to display on a Terminal, depending on its recent browsing on one or more websites.
Your interest in the advertising content that is displayed on your Terminal when you visit a website often determines the advertising resources of the website that enable it to operate its services, often provided to users free of charge. You may prefer to see advertisements that are relevant to your interests rather than advertisements that are of no interest to you. Similarly, Advertisers who want to see their ads displayed are interested in displaying their offers to users who are likely to be most interested in them.

If your Terminal is used by several people and when the same Terminal has several browsers, we cannot be sure that the services and advertisements intended for your Terminal correspond to your own use of this Terminal and not to that of another user of this Terminal.
Where applicable, the sharing with other people of the use of your Terminal and the configuration of the parameters of your browser with regard to Cookies, is your free choice and your responsibility.

"Cookie(s)": refers to a text file that may be saved, subject to your choices, in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your Terminal, when you consult an online service thanks to your browser software. A Cookie file allows its issuer to identify the Terminal in which it is saved, for the duration of the validity or saving of the Cookie.

"Browsing Information" means information that relates to a Terminal's connection to an electronic communication service at a given time. We may process Browsing Information as described herein, even though we do not necessarily know which Terminal you are using or who you are at any given time. This browsing information includes, but is not limited to:

  • IP (Internet Protocol) address of the Terminal connected to the Internet ;

  • the date and time of connection of a Terminal to an electronic communication service;

  • the Internet address of the Internet page of origin ("referer") of the Terminal accessing an electronic communication service;

  • the type of operating system used by the Terminal (Windows, MacOs, Linux, Unix, BeOS. etc.);

  • the type and version of the browser software used by a Terminal (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.);

  • the language of use of the browser software used by the Terminal, the identifier and content of a Cookie file stored by us in the Terminal.

"Personal Data": means data that relates to you alone at a given time, regardless of the Terminal you are using.

"Terminal" means the hardware equipment (computer, tablet, smartphone, phone, etc.) that you use to view or view a website, application, advertising content, etc.

"Advertiser": generally refers to any company or organization that uses various communication techniques to promote its reputation, its image, its products or its services.

"Advertising network": means the entity or company in charge of marketing advertising space on behalf of one or more Broadcasters: publishers of websites, mobile applications, etc.

The Régies may be required to :

  • to design advertising offers that are profitable for the Broadcaster and for themselves and more effective for the Advertiser;

  • implement technological solutions and partnerships that enable them to collect information relating to the Browsing and/or location of a single Terminal (computer, smartphone) on one or several thousand advertising distribution media (websites, mobile service platforms, mobile applications) for which they are the direct or indirect intermediaries.

"Broadcaster": refers to the content publishing medium (website, mobile website or mobile application), which has advertising space that it seeks to remunerate in the best possible conditions - both financial and ergonomic - through the insertion of advertising content, in order to finance its activities, in particular the publishing of services and content or information (e.g. online press).
In order to promote its advertising spaces and obtain better remuneration for them, the Broadcaster must be able to justify an audience in order to supply its spaces with advertising content adapted to this audience. The Broadcaster may call upon one or more Advertising Agencies to promote its spaces. Where applicable, these Advertising Agencies are required to implement in the advertising spaces they market to Advertisers, counting devices and, when they have them, devices for adapting the advertising content that they will display or broadcast on the Broadcaster's site.

"Targeted Advertising Service Provider": means a company that uses technologies - in particular Cookies and/or algorithms for calculating probability or appetence - that enable it to assist an Advertising Agency, an Advertiser or a communications consultancy in determining the advertising that appears to be the most appropriate to the Browsing information relating to a Terminal or to the Personal Data relating to a user, according to the information that it processes or that is made available to it by one of these actors.

"Targeted Advertising" means the ability to tailor advertising content to Browser information or Personal Data.

"Behavioral Advertising": refers to advertising that consists of deducing the supposed centers of interest of users from information relating to the Browsing of their Terminal on one or more services, in order to be able to display specifically adapted advertisements, supposed to interest them more than other advertisements.
The implementation of this type of advertising depends, on the one hand, on the technologies used and the actors who implement them, and on the other hand, on the availability or not of a "cookie" of a Terminal (a "Cookie" file, for example) and on the ability or not to share such a "cookie" with third parties.

"Personalized Advertising": refers to advertising chosen according to the characteristics known to the Internet user (age, gender, contact information, etc.) and that he or she has provided, for example by registering for a service.
The implementation of this form of targeted advertising can result either from declarative information provided by a user but insufficient to identify him (age, gender, tastes, interests), or from a processing of Personal Data. In the latter case, it must be apprehended with regard to the regulations relating to the protection of Personal Data, by informing Internet users, when they provide Personal Data concerning them, of the purposes of their processing, in particular the adaptation of advertising content likely to be displayed to them.
